Baptism Sundays
‘Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’ — Matthew 28:19
🌊 If you’re considering Baptism or want to explore your Christian Faith in a deeper more meaningful way. Please do get in touch with us!
We’ve been delighted to celebrate the baptisms and public declarations of faith of some of our members together these past weeks! If you've been contemplating the significance of baptism and are curious to find out more about the theology as well as the process of baptism, we invite you to get in touch with us.
🙏 Why Baptism?
Baptism is a symbolic act that holds immense spiritual significance. It's a powerful step that marks your commitment to a life guided by faith in Jesus, the Son of God - born of a virgin, sent by the Father to earth, fully God and fully man, to take on the sins of the world (yours and mind too) as the sinless and perfect lamb of God, who as He died on the cross, took on death and hell and was raised back to life by God the Father on the third day to represent his overcoming death and the promise of eternal life to all those who confess their sin and recognise Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
Whether you're exploring Christianity for the first time or perhaps you have walked with the Lord a long time but are keen to be baptised, talk to us! Baptism is a Biblical way to affirm your walk and faith in Christ Jesus, and is a beautiful and transformative declaration of your faith.
🎉 What to Expect
Pastor Bret can offer theological guidance and understanding wherever you are in your Christian walk and faith journey — if you have questions about the Christian Faith, what it means to be a follower of Jesus or perhaps you have recently asked Jesus to come into your heart and life as your Saviour and King, whatever your circumstances, come and talk to us, we’d love to chat with you!
Our Baptism Sundays are a celebration of spiritual rebirth and community. You'll be surrounded by a warm and supportive church body on this special day. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that your baptism experience is memorable, meaningful, and reflective of your unique Christian journey.
🗓️ Upcoming Baptism Sundays
For the church community at CIBC, this is a celebration together as we share these public declarations of faith and rejoice with the heavens,
